沈阳先科陶瓷有限公司是伴随着沈阳陶瓷研究所改制诞生的，沈阳陶瓷研究所成立于一九五七年，是集科研、生产为一体的国内骨干科研单位。建所四十多年来，多次承接并完成国家级科研项目，填补多项国家新材料及军工技术方面的空白，特别在建筑陶瓷、工业陶瓷、特种陶瓷、艺术陶瓷及氧化锆测氧技术方面，具有国内领先的优势。先后获得国家及省级以上科研成果三十四项。     

　　近年来，经过适合现代企业发展的改革调整，已经发展成为一支集设计、科研、生产为一体的综合性突出生产装备齐全、科研手段先进、技术力量雄厚，在国内享有较高信誉并具有多项领先技术的综合性生产研究机构,最近开发的专利产品是陶瓷表面镀涂铂金保护层制品，已应用于玻璃窑及氢氟酸窑用刚玉铂金涂层保护管。

    目前，该所经营服务的主要项目有：

一、工厂、窑炉设计（具有国家建设部乙级设计资质）  

 1、建筑陶瓷工厂设计：工业陶瓷工厂设计；

    2、各种陶瓷用高温窑炉（1800℃）、辊道窑、梭式窑等烧成窑炉的设计；

    1、建筑陶瓷：坏釉料配方、印花丝网制作、解决生产相关问题等；

    4、用于各类工业燃烧炉烟气测氧控制的氧化锆氧量计（曾获全国科技大会重大科技成果奖）；
